This Refund Policy explains your rights and our process for cancellations and refunds when booking flights through InAirBookings.com, operated by INAIRGROUP LLC.

As an independent travel agency, we act as an intermediary between you and the airline. Refund eligibility for the airfare portion is determined by the airline's fare rules, not by InAirBookings. Our service fee policy is separate and described in Section 4.

Before confirming any booking, we will clearly communicate:

  • The complete total price (airfare + taxes + our service fee)
  • The fare type (refundable, partially refundable, or non-refundable)
  • The applicable cancellation and change conditions

3 Airfare Refunds

Whether your airfare is refundable depends on the fare type purchased:

  • Fully refundable fares: Eligible for a full refund of the airfare amount, subject to any airline-imposed cancellation fee. The refund period and conditions vary by airline.
  • Partially refundable fares: A portion of the airfare may be refunded, minus cancellation penalties imposed by the airline. The exact refundable amount will depend on when the cancellation is requested.
  • Non-refundable fares: The airfare portion is not refundable. Some airlines may offer a travel credit or voucher for future use instead of a cash refund.

We will always communicate the fare type and its cancellation conditions to you before you confirm the booking. If you are unsure, please ask our agent before paying.

4 Our Service Fee

InAirBookings charges a service fee of $20–$35 per booking for our search, advisory, and booking assistance services. This fee:

  • Is disclosed in full before you confirm your booking
  • Is included in the total price quoted to you
  • Is non-refundable once a booking has been confirmed, regardless of whether the airfare is refundable or whether the booking is subsequently cancelled
  • Compensates InAirBookings for agent time, search, and processing services already rendered

In exceptional circumstances (e.g., a booking error made by InAirBookings), we may at our sole discretion issue a full or partial refund of the service fee.

5 Airline-Initiated Cancellations

If an airline cancels your flight, you are generally entitled to:

  • A full refund of the airfare and associated taxes (regardless of the original fare type)
  • Alternative flight options offered by the airline
  • Travel credit in some circumstances

We will assist you in claiming your refund or rebooking with the airline as quickly as possible. Please contact us as soon as you are notified of an airline cancellation. Our service fee remains non-refundable in these cases as our booking services were rendered.

For flight disruptions (significant delays, diversions), your rights may vary depending on the airline, route, and applicable aviation regulations. Contact us and we will advise you of your options.

7 Refund Processing Timeline

Refund timelines depend on the airline and your payment method:

  • Credit card refunds: Typically 7–21 business days from the date the airline approves the refund
  • Debit card refunds: Typically 5–10 business days
  • Other payment methods: Varies — our agent will advise at the time of the request

InAirBookings is not responsible for delays in refund processing caused by the airline or your financial institution. We will follow up with the airline on your behalf if a refund is unreasonably delayed.

You will receive a confirmation from us once the refund request has been submitted to the airline.

8 Non-Refundable Items

The following are not refundable under any circumstances:

  • InAirBookings service fee ($20–$35) once a booking is confirmed
  • Non-refundable airfares (as specified in the fare rules communicated before booking)
  • Airline-imposed change fees or cancellation penalties
  • No-show charges (if you fail to show for a flight without prior cancellation)
  • Travel insurance premiums (if applicable — governed by the insurer's terms)

9 Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or credit card provider without first contacting us, this may complicate and delay the resolution of your case. We encourage direct communication as the first step in all disputes.

This policy does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
