Booking changes

Change a flight booking

New dates, a different route or a passenger-name correction — we check what your fare allows, quote every airline fee up front, and submit the change for you.

The short answer

How to change a flight with an airline

To change a flight with an airline you need the booking reference (PNR) and the name on the ticket. The fare rules on that ticket decide whether the change is allowed, what change fee applies, and any fare difference for the new flight — some fares change without a fee, while the cheapest basic fares often cannot be changed at all. Call +1 (570) 599-6951 and an agent reads those rules and quotes the full cost before anything is changed.

How it works

Three steps, no surprises

Nothing is changed on your reservation until you have seen the full cost and said yes.

1. Tell us what needs to change

Call with the booking reference, the name on the ticket and the change you need — new travel dates, a different airport or route, or a name that is spelled wrong.

2. We check the fare rules and quote

An agent retrieves the reservation, checks what your fare type permits and prices the change: the airline's change fee plus any fare difference on the new flight. You get one clear total.

3. You approve, we submit

Only after you approve the amount do we submit the change to the airline. You receive the updated itinerary and e-ticket once the airline confirms it.

What we can change

Changes we handle

Travel dates

Moving a departure or return to another day. Availability on the new date and the fare difference are confirmed with the airline before you commit.

  • Earlier or later departure
  • Extended or shortened trips
  • Subject to airline availability

Route or airport

Flying into a different city, adding a stopover, or switching airports in the same city. Some fares treat this as a new ticket — we tell you which applies.

  • Alternative airports
  • Multi-city and stopovers
  • Fare difference disclosed first

Passenger name corrections

A misspelled name can stop you boarding. Minor corrections are usually possible; the airline's own rule decides the fee and whether documents are needed.

  • Spelling and typo corrections
  • Airline rule checked first
  • Fee stated before we request it

Bookings made elsewhere

You do not need to have booked through us. Bring the airline booking reference (PNR) and we can work on the reservation in the same way.

  • Any airline booking reference
  • Same transparent quote
  • Agents on the phone 7 days a week

Change fee + airline charges apply

Common questions

Changing a flight — questions we get asked

The airline sets it, and the fare type decides. Some fares can be changed with no change fee — you pay only any difference in fare. Others charge a fixed fee per passenger on top of the difference, and the cheapest basic fares often cannot be changed at all. We read the rule on your ticket and quote the fee and the fare difference as separate figures before anything is changed.

Yes. Give us the airline booking reference (PNR) and the name on the ticket. We retrieve the reservation, check what the fare rules allow, and quote the airline's change fee plus any fare difference before anything is actioned.

It depends on the airline and the fare you bought: the airline's change fee plus any difference between the fare you paid and the fare on the new flight. We tell you the full amount before we submit the change, and we only proceed once you approve it.

Most airlines allow minor spelling corrections; some charge a fee and some require documents. We check your airline's rule and tell you exactly what applies before we request the correction.

Once you approve the quoted amount, most changes are submitted to the airline the same day. For a flight departing within 24 hours, call us on +1 (570) 599-6951 — agents are on the phone seven days a week. If you cannot reach us and you are departing shortly, contact the operating airline directly — they hold the booking and can act on it at any hour.

Sometimes, and it depends on the fare and how close to departure you are. Most airlines stop allowing changes somewhere between a few hours before departure and the moment check-in closes, and the cut-off differs by carrier and fare type. Call +1 (570) 599-6951 as early as you can and we will check what is still possible. If you cannot reach us and you are departing shortly, contact the operating airline directly — they hold the booking and can act on it at any hour.

Often yes, though it depends on what your fare permits. A destination change is handled the same way as any other change: we read the fare rules on your ticket, then quote the airline's change fee plus the difference between the fare you paid and the new one. Some of the cheapest fare types do not allow a route change at all, and if yours is one of them we will tell you that rather than guess.

That is decided by the airline's fare rules, not by us. Some fares refund the difference, many issue it as a travel credit toward a future booking, and some keep it entirely. We read the rule that applies to your specific ticket and tell you the outcome before you approve anything, so there is no surprise after the change has gone through.

It depends on the airline. Some carriers allow a single passenger to be split off and moved on their own; others require every passenger on the reservation to travel on the same new flight. We check which rule applies to your booking before quoting, because it changes what the change costs.

Two things to begin: the airline booking reference (PNR) and the last name on the ticket. That is enough for us to retrieve the reservation and read its fare rules. Once you tell us the date or flight you want instead, we come back with the airline's change fee and any fare difference as separate figures. Nothing is charged until you approve the total.
